The Ace of Clubs House has one of the most colorful pasts in history. Legend has it that local businessman James H. Draughon hit the jackpot at a poker game. He decided to build the house in the shape of a club which had been his winning card.
The mansion, which has 22 different sides, is now a part of the Texarkana Museum System. Each room is restored to represent a certain time frame in the home's history. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm.
